It’s spring. I promise. It WILL get warmer. Until then, you can always keep yourselves warm by giving each other some lovely cuddles like Laura and Greg before their wedding at the St-Georges Hotel in Llandudno. When we propose the pre-wedding portrait sessions , we always suggest to people to chose somewhere they like or like the idea of spending time there, just to help take a bit of the nervousness some people have when they are having pictures taken! So Laura and Greg chose Laura’s parent’s backyard because that’s where he proposed!

So here are (hopefully) our last cold weather images!

There are people who are naturally funny and this time, I’m not talking about me! Despite the rain, the wind and interuptions from French tourists on some sort of treasure hunt in Grosvenor Park, one of my souvenirs from that shoot was how many times we heard Amir laughing though it was mainly aimed at me..

First he thought I reminded him of Omid Djalili. NOW.. I’m not being funny, but I am CONSIDERABLY slimmer (and better looking) than him.

Saying “He’s massively famous in Iran!” Didn’t make me feel any better.

Then when I told him I was 5’9, he almost had an asthma attack..

Anyhow that’s usually the atmosphere that we have at pre-wedding shoots. Lot’s of fun and lots of laughing. Nothing too serious here because it’s not about anything too complicated, it’s simply a nice day out somewhere important to you or somewhere you like spending time together. You just happen to have a photographer with you!

Charlotte having been a picture editor for Harper’s Bazaar was like most people more comfortable at first behind the camera which is totally normal. But our aim and style ensures you get a positive experience in front of the camera AND provide you with images that will reflect what your relationship is about in this case, I am sure you can see lots of happiness and togetherness and I know they have a wonderful future together ahead.

We met Charlotte and Amir after the Chester Grosvenor Hotel recommended us and we would like to thank them as we had a brilliant time together! Keep and eye for the wedding pictures to come up soon!

Edwyn and Fflur came to us after hearing about Celynnen Photography through a friend and were a bit nervous about the pre-wedding shoot, like most people. But I think you can agree that they look rather good!

When 2 people so in love with each other allow you to capture moments they share together, you realise what a privilege it is to be a portrait or wedding photographer.

I met Jo though the Chester Grosvenor for which we are the Prefered Photographer. Unfortunately, Celynnen Photography were unavailable for Reinhardt and Jo’s wedding at Combermere Abbey but it was an honour to do their pre-wedding shoot in Delamere Forest, a place close to Jo’s heart. It was lovely to get to know them more and witness how supportive they were of each other. I predict they will spend many, many happy years together.

When people think about the industrial revolution, they don’t necessarily think of beautiful parks and peaceful walks, but that’s what we found when we visited Bridgewater Canal with Emma and Chris for their pre-wedding shoot! We met after being recommended by the Bron Eifion country House Hotel in Criccieth, a wedding venue in Snowdonia Celynnen Photography knows very well. Both a bit nervous about having their picture taken, I think they look rather good myself!

This Saturday we will be with Frank and Vicky (and their gorgeous son Archie) for their wedding in Denbigh! I’m really excited, specially after the good time we had during this pre-wedding shoot! As you can see, they are clearly naturals! One of the first things you notice when you meet them is how much they care for each other and little Archie. There is definitely lots of love in that house and we are honored that they chose Celynnen Photography to capture their big day!

The 13th of October, I was privileged to be invited as Karen and Kevin’s wedding photographer at Seiont Manor in the heart of Snowdonia! Their pictures are all ready for them to view and we can’t wait! It was a gorgeous day and, as you will soon see, the bride and groom were absolutely stunning! But as always with Celynnen Photography brides and grooms, we first started with a pre-wedding shoot! This allows us to get to know each other and pretty much guarantees better wedding pictures simply because we’re not strangers to each other anymore!

The location for these shoots are so important because they also help create a memorable ambiance (see that…I said “ambiance” because I’m arty like that!)

We always take our clients to places which are important to them or that they like the idea of and in this case, it was Crosby Beach. Hope you like the small selection of this portrait session and stay tuned for their wedding images!

Autumn is a very exciting time for Celynnen Photography. The weather is still nice and just chilly enough to make us want to cuddle a bit more and the colours in the trees make for a gorgeous background! Mark and Jackie, who are getting married at the Chester Grosvenor this winter, made the most of a gorgeous autumn day and came to meet us at Delamere Forest for their pre-wedding shoot. They’ve taken us from Cumbria to London, Portmeirion to Portstewart and of course, Cheshire!
