After Erin and Jann, it was Jenny and Carl’s turn to come back to Celynnen Photography with the latest addition to their family: Baby Jasmine! It was lovely to take pictures of them in Grosvenor Park because it was just a short distance from where we had done their pre-wedding shoot a couple of years ago! One of the pictures not only made our favorite of the year list but it was also used in a brochure for Chester! We also were the photographers for Jenny and Carl ’s beautiful wedding at the Chester Grosvenor in Chester. We were really excited when Carl called us again to book Jasmine’s first portrait session and we hope we get to have many more so we can see her grow into a gorgeous young lady!

Remember Erin and Jann? A couple of years ago, we started with their pre-wedding portraits and then their wedding in Portmeirion and now…they have a baby!

Every Celynnen Photography client is important but what we love best is when we are able to build a relationship with them and that they come back to us for other important moments! So it was a pleasure and an honour to go back to meet the latest addition to the family and as you can see, she is not only gorgeous, but very much loved indeed!

Celynnen Photography have been doing family photography in Wrexham, Chester, the Wirral and much further afield now for a considerable time and we are proud of our loyal clientele who keep coming back as their family grows! Part of it can perhaps be explained by our flexibility! Whether it’s in a park, with a seasonal theme  or at home using a variety of backgrounds, we always come to where you are most comfortable for your portrait photography.

The advantage over a studio setting is clear. It’s much easier to take pictures of children in an environment in which they are comfortable! It also means that if you are with us for one of our newborn sessions, everything for your child’s comfort is at hand!

Remember Louise’s Baby Bump shoot? Hard to imagine but only one week later, the bump became Baby Eva! Actually, it’s not really that hard to imagine for those who know Louise as she always looks glamourous, but that’s another story..

So we went back to the family home for more pictures, this time of the whole family! We always find it easier, specially with a young one, to simply get to the location ourselves. We have the portable lights, the backdrops, etc, while the parents have all of the babies favourite things at hand!

Anyways, here are the pictures!

This Saturday we will be with Frank and Vicky (and their gorgeous son Archie) for their wedding in Denbigh! I’m really excited, specially after the good time we had during this pre-wedding shoot! As you can see, they are clearly naturals! One of the first things you notice when you meet them is how much they care for each other and little Archie. There is definitely lots of love in that house and we are honored that they chose Celynnen Photography to capture their big day!

Amy and Joe, who booked us at the Holt Lodge Wedding Fayre in February 2009 for their 2011 wedding, have always been good followers of our Facebook page where they won a free portrait session which they chose to use as a good gift for Joe’s mum this Christmas. So we organised a date where all the siblings could get together and went to one of my favourite locations for portraits in Cheshire: Delamere Forest. This was the second time Amy and Joe worked with us as we’ve already done their pre-wedding shoot and it was great to catch up and meet some of the other people that will be guests at their wedding next July in Wrexham’s Cathedral! Can’t wait till the big day now!

Recently, we’ve started working with local playgroups wanting to raise money by providing them with a family portrait photography day! This allows local families that want to support their local playgroup to have a short session at a discounted price while raising funds by buying prints, allowing playgroups to invest in new games, their facilities, etc. Here are some of my favourites from the latest session with did in a playgroup in Cheshire. Now, based on the fact that we’ve had beautiful snow, that it’s 12 days to Christmas etc, you would be right in thinking this blog post would be about Christmas!

Well, it’s not. It’s about the fantastic time between Halloween and Thanksgiving! (I’m trying to catch up on the backlog, promise!) Not being from the UK, I always associate this time with the beautiful colors of autumn, cosy nights by the fire with someone you love and families as Thanksgiving, in some parts of America is almost a bigger family celebration than Christmas!

So we went to Hopton House Bed and Breakfast which offered a perfect setting for family portraits thanks to it’s beautiful views, trees and the gorgeous smells coming out of the AGA!

Sara Wint of Brook Farm Bed and Breakfast came and delivered some hay bales for our makeshift “studio”. As with all things today, health and safety was a priority so we had our own crew of inspectors, making sure it was all safe!

The inspectors approved the setup!

We then had to test the setup with Sarah, Lesley and Karen, our 3 glamourous B&B ladies!

The scene set, it was time to take family portraits!
