Yesterday, I woke up and to my great surprise one of the pictures that we had taken was in The Sun! Under the eye catching title of “Corrie chiefs sign exotic dancer” Immediately I thought…that’s Charlie! In fact…that’s the picture Celynnen Photography took of Charlie!

After a quick chat with the BIPP‘s headquarters and the Sun’s picture desk, we were able to sort out this confusing situation in a matter of minutes! That service is just one of the reasons why I, as a professional, have decided to qualify with the BIPP. A bit more about that here.

But now, more about Charlene, or Charlie as everyone calls her! I first worked with her on a shoot on Valentine’s day a few years ago. It was great fun and, besides the great pictures we took that day, one of the things I remember from the shoot is her then boyfriend, who was sat in a corner playing Football Manager, would occasionally take a peak over his laptop and compliment her on her looks!

The session from which the pictures which are now across the web are from took place a couple of years ago when Charlie needed her model portfolio updated. It was a glorious sunny day in Chester and Charlie was her bubbly self. I say this because one of the most defining features from this (we hope) future TV Star is that she is always so happy, bubbly and always a great pleasure to work with! Pity the Sun chose the picture they did as I much prefer the following. The first one was actually part of our Qualification panel for the British Institute of Professional Photography!

One of the funniest things about this session is that the pictures were taken on top of a pub in Chester! We were both short of time and short of space and so a rooftop terrace by the Chester Town Hall was the only place we could see fit the for the job. Now, the Sun put in the title “Corrie signs Exotic dancer” because it’s a nice and catchy title. But you will soon find out how talented Charlie is as an actress TONIGHT on Coronation Street!
