With the lack of female role models being such a hot topic in the news today, it is my pleasure to introduce to you Danielle Baker!
This British Tae Kwon Do Champion and Junior Olympics Silver medalist from Alsager, by Crewe in Cheshire is currently part of the Talented Athletes Scholarship Scheme and is on her way to achieving a First Class degree at The University of Salford.

Danielle has already been picked as a Nike Select in Manchester and is looking forward to helping more young girls and women get involved in sport. Once she gets her academic exams out of the way, she has the firm intention of defending her British title in September.

Currently in the Cooperative Championship 1 with an eye on promotion, the Crusaders offer top quality rugby at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium and a family friendly sporting day out easily accessible from the A483.

We met Caroline and Ken after they were recommended to us by the Chester Grosvenor and we were delighted they chose Celynnen Photography to capture their wedding! Because their wedding was in December, it benefited from the beautiful Christmas decorations that add to the Grosvenor’s already magnificent decor.  One thing which you will find from these pictures is that despite being taken indoors or outdoors in the dark…they are never actually dark pictures! Just one of the benefits of working with a professional photographer.

After the success of our last course as part of Wrexham’s Year of Culture, Celynnen Photography would like to invite you to the Holt Lodge Hotel from 9:00am to 4:30pm on the 4th of May for a course with other photography enthusiasts where you will learn about:

- Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO

- What is the difference between the various modes on your camera

- Composition: how to frame your pictures in a more appealing way

To make sure you don’t forget your newly acquired skills, the afternoon session will allow you to work with professional models!

All this at only £50! All you need is a bit of enthusiasm and your camera! See you there!

Celynnen Photography love working at the Bron Eifion Country House Hotel so we were very excited when Chris and Emma asked us to be their wedding photographer! As with all our wedding clients, Emma and Chris benefited from a free pre-wedding portrait session. Having your picture taken can be a very daunting experience for most people, so the pre-wedding shoot really helps! This is where we will put you at ease and introduce you to some basic concepts that will make you look your best without even realising you are “posing”.

Then the wedding day came and it was a lovely sunny and to an extent, surprisingly warm! We had some good fun with some lively wedding guests and look forward to seeing them again in the future!

This year’s wedding season is well underway and that often means a spring of pre-wedding portrait photography for us! On the day of this portrait session we did by Penmon Lighthouse the sun was shining and the weather definitely gave an impression that summer was here! (As I am writing this, there is a snowman on my neighbours lawn..) We had a fantastic session and lots of fun and we cannot wait for their wedding in Plas Newydd, Beaumaris this autumn!

We met Amy and Graeme at the Seiont Manor wedding fayre which is an event Celynnen Photography attend regularly because of the friendly atmosphere and fantastic staff. Hope to see you there at the next one!

After Erin and Jann, it was Jenny and Carl’s turn to come back to Celynnen Photography with the latest addition to their family: Baby Jasmine! It was lovely to take pictures of them in Grosvenor Park because it was just a short distance from where we had done their pre-wedding shoot a couple of years ago! One of the pictures not only made our favorite of the year list but it was also used in a brochure for Chester! We also were the photographers for Jenny and Carl ’s beautiful wedding at the Chester Grosvenor in Chester. We were really excited when Carl called us again to book Jasmine’s first portrait session and we hope we get to have many more so we can see her grow into a gorgeous young lady!

Remember Erin and Jann? A couple of years ago, we started with their pre-wedding portraits and then their wedding in Portmeirion and now…they have a baby!

Every Celynnen Photography client is important but what we love best is when we are able to build a relationship with them and that they come back to us for other important moments! So it was a pleasure and an honour to go back to meet the latest addition to the family and as you can see, she is not only gorgeous, but very much loved indeed!

When 2 people so in love with each other allow you to capture moments they share together, you realise what a privilege it is to be a portrait or wedding photographer.

I met Jo though the Chester Grosvenor for which we are the Prefered Photographer. Unfortunately, Celynnen Photography were unavailable for Reinhardt and Jo’s wedding at Combermere Abbey but it was an honour to do their pre-wedding shoot in Delamere Forest, a place close to Jo’s heart. It was lovely to get to know them more and witness how supportive they were of each other. I predict they will spend many, many happy years together.
