We saw Celynnen Photography for the first time at a wedding fayre at Carden Park hotel, back in 2011. We were looking for a high standard of photography, but something more along the traditional album style, and it was a relief to finally find a photographer who met our requirements, without extortionate prices. We received friendly and professional levels of service throughout – from our initial meeting with Nicola at the fayre; followed up shortly after when Ioan visited us at our house; to our free pre-wedding photoshoot at a location of our choice (to help us learn to relax infront of the camera); the main shoot on our wedding day; and not forgetting the personal delivery of the album by Ioan a few months later. Nicola kept us informed throughout the whole process, ensuring everything was organised accordingly. What we really liked was the fact that Ioan spent the time to get to know us as people, and ensured that we felt at ease with him during the photo-shoots. His quirky nature, especially his singing!, ensured we were smiling and laughing naturally, which always helps when you are having your picture taken! We certainly have no regrets using Celynnen Photography for our wedding, and they come highly recommended from us.

Ioan Said is a brilliant photographer, with a keen eye to detail and a creative style which is flexible and adaptable to each and every situation. Whether that is a wedding, a social function, a modelling photo shoot session or other. He is a gentleman and his personal qualities as a person shine through his work, making it very easy to work with him – and he is always open to ideas and suggestions (always the sign of a knowledgeable and experienced photographer). I have worked with Ioan twice, once during a charity event where Ioan had been hired to shoot the event for the papers, and the second time recently for my own personal portfolio. As an actor and model, it is very important to me to be able to work with someone I feel comfortable with, and who I know will bring out the best in the final product. Ioan provides an excellent service – and is a lovely guy too!
